The USA softball team has been called the dream team, the team of the century, and the best softball team there has ever been. The directors of the olympics were considering taking it out as an olympic event because of the utter domination the U.S. has had over the time it has been in the olympics. This can be proven by the unreal amount of records broken during the 2004 olympics in Athens. One olympic director was quoted as saying,"They are amazing. Their defence is unstoppable, and there are no gaps in their line up." This statement is as close to a fact as an opinion can be. They are now looking to dominate at this years 2008 olympics in Beijing.
